Part 1 of this two-part series on community-based
palliative care will look at the key elements to consider before starting a
program, including licensing, certification, accreditation, and requirements
that payer sources are looking for in a palliative care partner. Cost
considerations, reimbursement, and the NCP Clinical Practice Guidelines for
Quality Palliative Care will also be presented. This webinar will help
agencies understand the critical elements in assessing and considering a CBPC
and lay the foundation for Part 2, which will address how to actually build a
program.
