WEBINAR DETAILS

Medical audit reviews/additional documentation requests (ADRs) continue for both post- and pre-payment review. Agencies struggle with how to submit their documentation in a timely and effective manner in order to produce optimal results. This presentation will be a "how-to" guide on responding to an ADR and submitting your documentation. This process begins with understanding the ADR received, key critical first steps an agency should take, and what agency members should be involved in the process. We will cover timelines, critical documentation to review, submission steps, and internal resources required for the submission project. We will also address best practices, including checklists for ease-of-use auditing, when to seek outside assistance in responding to medical review audits, when to seek legal advice, and when to appeal.
