This session will review the responsibilities
involved in corporate compliance and identify additional policies and best
practices that support a corporate compliance plan and the Medicare Conditions
of Payment. Examples of internal controls and ADR management policies and
procedures will be provided.
The program will address critical ADR elements that
your agency should adopt. It will also present ADR instructional information,
audit tools/checklists to incorporate into your routine QA and compliance
processes, when and how to perform routine audits, and what to do with audit
results. Training, education, and creating a culture of compliance will then
help your organization be prepared for ADRs, maintain corporate compliance, and
eliminate the risk of payment recoupment.
