Biography
Andrew Brenton is an attorney in Husch Blackwell’s healthcare
practice, working primarily with the hospice and palliative care team. Prior to
joining Husch Blackwell, Andrew was a healthcare and hospice attorney at
Reinhart Boerner Van Deuren. He was assistant general counsel for the Wisconsin
Hospital Association, where he managed a variety of contracting, compliance and
governance matters. He developed an expertise in a wide variety of health care
policy areas, including HIPAA and other data privacy and security laws,
telehealth and electronic health records. Andrew understands the complex issues
facing health care providers and is committed to providing practical solutions
to his clients. He advocates for clients so they can stay focused on their
patient care missions. Andrew also helps clients naviagte through a wide range
of government audits, fraud and repayment investigations, and provider and
payor contracting issues.
