Biography
Kathy Duckett MSN, RN brings over 25 years of expertise in
clinical, regulatory, operations management and program development. She is
currently the Director of Advanced Care at Home with Tufts Medicine Care at
Home, part of the Tufts Medicine healthcare system in MA. In addition, she owns
K. Duckett Consulting LLC, a firm specializing in clinical, regulatory, and
financial operations management for home health care with an emphasis on
telehealth and technology integration. Ms. Duckett’s experience includes Chief
Clinical Officer for CareGroup Parmenter Home Care & Hospice with a mandate
for clinical, financial, and quality operations, clinical strategy and
regulatory compliance, Director of Population Health for the VNA Care Network (Massachusetts)
where she developed Remote Patient Monitoring and Virtual Medical Visit pilot
programs, the Sutter Center for Integrated Care as Director of Training and
Development where she was responsible for the Hospice, Home Care, and Patient
Centered Medical Homes programs and integrating telemonitoring protocols into
care plans and workflows, Director of Clinical Programs at Partners Healthcare
at Home (part of Partners Healthcare System) where she developed and managed
Partners specialty programs including responsibility for financial oversight,
and received ten Partners in Excellence awards for her work in developing
innovative programs in telemonitoring and chronic care.
Ms. Duckett is an
editorial board member of Home Healthcare Nurse, serves as the
vice-chair of the American Telemedicine Association’s Home Telemedicine and
Remote Monitoring Special Interest Group, of which she is also a former
chairperson. She appears regularly as a speaker and panelist nationally and
internationally on topics pertaining to e-Care, integrated care management,
telemedicine, home healthcare, and innovation in healthcare. Kathy received her
Master of Science in Nursing Innovation and Intra/Entrepreneurship in Advance
Nursing Practice.
